The Slingshot is one of the original BrickBattle weapons, added in March 2006 as a preset HopperBin. It can be used in many variety of ways but is mostly underestimated due to its weak damage per pellet.
Function[]
The Slingshot is a weak, but fast weapon. It deals barely any damage per projectile, but persistence can pay off, since the fast fire rate and reload time compensate for less damage per pellet.
Tips[]
- The slingshot is useful for countering incoming rockets fired from the Rocket Launcher, as it creates lots of pellets, creating a good likelihood of the rocket exploding into the projectiles, since the rocket will explode upon hitting a solid object, and has a short reload time.
- It is not recommended to shoot at walls, since the pellets may bounce off the wall and damage the user. Alternatively, this can also be a good tactic for opponents near a wall, since the pellets' bounce can be used to the player's advantage for indirectly damaging the opponent by shooting the pellets at the wall, with the pellets eventually bouncing off to the opponent.
- A single slingshot bullet does not do very much damage. However, the slingshot has a very high rate of fire. If you have good accuracy, you will be able to hit your opponent multiple times, doing a lot of damage.
- Unlike the Superball, the slingshot automatically calculates the angle to use to hit the location under the targeting cursor. So if your enemy is behind a wall and only his head is showing, it is not hard to get him with the slingshot.

- The original texture for the Slingshot icon comes from a factory image of the Surefire Slingshot toy manufactured by Monkey Business Sports.[citation needed] The version of the image used on Roblox is transparent with the spare foam balls cropped out.
- The slingshot was the first BrickBattle tool made. The original preset version by Roblox had much larger pellets (2x2x2 balls) and could be shot at a much rapid rate.
