Builders Club (BC) is a premium service that enhances the ROBLOX experience by giving users the ability to create and manage multiple structures and environments. Builders Club members also gain the ability to earn ROBLOX currency — called "ROBUX" — which can be used to purchase premium items in the ROBLOX catalog. These items enable much greater customization of users' avatars and their interactive creations.
There are three types of Builders Club: Builders Club, Turbo Builders Club, and Outrageous Builders Club. Builder's Club can be bought at places like GameStop, Toys Я Us, Best Buy through game cards. When purchasing ROBUX, a user with Builder's Club will receive more ROBUX with their purchase compared to a non-Builder's Club member. A user can get free Builders Club on the Test Server, although it will not be kept when you go to Roblox.com.
The Classic Builders Club (simply named Builders Club) membership was the first to be released, on August 16th, 2007. Anyone who signs up for it get features that members without BC doesn't. These include a daily income of 15 ROBUX, the ability to own up to 10 places, and the removal of outside ads. It was once hidden on the Builders Club page; you needed to click the logo above the T/OBC options to get the payment options for it. Members also get a badge and a hard hat.
Here is a chart for payments:

Turbo Builders Club gives members all of the liberties of Builders Club, as well as some extra features. These include getting 35 Robux per day, owning 25 places, and the ability to join and create up to 20 groups. Members also get a new hard hat and a badge. Main article: Game Cards
ROBLOX Cards are cards with codes to either get more ROBUX or Builders Club. They are sold for $10, $25, or $40 and can be found at various places like Toys Я Us, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, 7-Eleven, etc. Toys Я Us cards were released earlier than 7-Eleven cards, at September 26th. 7-Eleven cards were released in October 1st. After that was announced, card gears were released, also being the first gear costing Tickets. Also, in February last year, cards for 1,000 R$ and 6 months Builders Club were first sold in Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom. You can usually get bonus gear or hats when redeeming a Roblox Card, which varies depending where you bought it.
There has always been an argument on what Builders Club can or can't do, such as "BC only places" and the fact that many people lost their places due to the fixing of a glitch that made people that had builders club but lost it to keep their places, with many people showing blog posts supporting and countering their argument. Members also say that Builder's club is a ban shield, which means it's something that pressures the mods to ban the BC member less, but this has not been confirmed. To this day, people are always talking about whether (or not) Builder's Club has gone too far. Also, in some updates, including advertisements and the removal of the Ambassador badge, players thought they were forcing them to buy membership, some even leaving for the rival game Minecraft.
