The Artemis Bow is a gear made by Roblox on September 6, 2012.

The user will see two selection GUIs when equipped, with the one on the left showing a single arrow, and the one on the right showing multiple arrows.

If the user selects the GUI on the left, the one with a single arrow, then they are able to "charge a shot" by holding down the mouse button. The longer it is held, the more damage it deals until it reaches a limit of 100 damage per shot.

If the user selects the GUI on the right, then they are able to shoot arrows by holding the mouse down. Each arrow deals a default damage of 12 with no way to "charge" a shot. However, when compared to the single shot firing mode, it fires much quicker.

By pressing the space bar, the user can fly using either the WASD keys or arrow keys without a time limit while shooting arrows.

This gear went off sale on September 10, 2012, but went back on sale around Christmas 2012.

It should be noted that this gear cannot be dropped properly. If the user tries to, they would end up losing their bow without the bow itself dropping, as well as flying in their current direction forever should they be in mid-flight.

Trivia[]

This section is a trivia section. Please relocate any relevant information into other sections of the article.

  • The bow, arrow, and wings have similar design to Nintendo's game's character "Pit".
  • There is an expensive counterpart of this gear, which is called the Fallen Artemis Bow. It was the most expensive non-limited gear item, at the price of 2,500 Robux, but went off sale sometime in April 2016. It later went on sale again during the Memorial Day sale of that year. Currently, the most expensive non-limited gear item is the Black Iron Katana, costing 2,500 Robux, surpassing the Rock It Guitar, which costed 2,001 Robux.
  • The weapon is named after the Greek goddess of the hunt Artemis, which makes sense because she is usually depicted wielding a bow and arrow (the weapon) and also the fact that she is a deity (hence the wings)
  • This gear is infamous in Seranok's Catalog Heaven game for being too powerful.
  • There is an unreleased variant of this gear called "September Promo Placeholder", which maintains the old stats of the artemis bow, such as undelayed flying and firing.
