Bunny Ears of Caprice is a hat that was published in the marketplace by Shedletsky on March 17, 2008, specifically for the Eggstravaganza event. The ownership of the item was later moved to the official Roblox account on August 2, 2016. It was given to a small select amount of users. As of November 20, 2022, it has been favorited 6,487 times.

Appearance[]

It is a version of the Bunny Ears with a purple tint.

Function[]

Players wearing this hat that are not on the list below would explode after five seconds (due to this being the standard time a ForceField light iconForceField dark iconForceField lasts). All admins and moderators at the time when it was released were allowed to wear it without exploding.

This hat, like Doombringer's Doombringer and Teapot Turret, gave tools upon wearing it. These tools allowed Roblox staff to spawn eggs manually in-game. Due to script updates over the years, most of them don't work.

Additionally, during the Eggstravaganza event, players on the list that were killed while wearing this hat during the designated hours dropped the Cracked Egg of Pwnage.

Later, the scripts in the hat were disabled by default, and the hat now has no effect. It is still possible to re-enable the original functionality of the hat by re-enabling the scripts, either via another script or the developer console.

  • This hat can cause problems in games with hat selectors where people may select this hat to blow up the surrounding area. An example is Robloxian Highschool, where users could use the ears to cause chaos from January 5, 2019, to January 12, 2019.
  • On November 29, 2021, the Bunny Ears of Caprice were updated to use a new texture with the lavender color already applied. Previously, this hat relied on the VertexColor value to apply the lavender tint.
