Marble meshes[]
The player can choose any marble meshes in the game. Marble meshes hidden at the lobby are Cyan Head, Green Head, Magenta Head, Sad Head and Swapped Head. The player can find hidden chicken marble meshes at Tomb Ruins, McManor, and Glass Houses. 15 marble meshes were added to the marble meshes menu in mid-November 2015. 5 marble meshes were added in late February 2016. Another 5 marble meshes were added in mid-November 2016.

- On April 8, 2020, Coastal Cove was the 15th map added to the game.
- On October 14, 2020, Maelstronomer implemented new physics, a new lobby, a new map (Desert Dunes), and several other minor changes to the game.
- Later in October, Pipe Nightmares was the 17th map added to the game and was the first not actual map.
- On November 17th, 2020, Checkpoint Chaos was the 18th map added to the game and was the second not actual map.

- In one of the hallways, Shedletsky's Castle has various pictures and drawings of John Shedletsky on them. There is also Ban Hammers places above the entrance.
- The stage Clockwork Canyon makes an appearance in another game made by Kinnis97 called Roblox Rally. There are several differences in the design, such as the loop being removed and several ramps being placed in some areas.
- On June 24, 2017, huantran was the first SBB player to officially beat a hacker (Faisal) on the map Tomb Ruins, with a time of 43.433, while the hacker's time was 43.44). Later that day, SwimmerGod098 beat the hacker as well. Only 2 other players (DiamondEyedMonster and PolarisThePichu) were able to also beat the hacker.
- On February 11, 2016, a badge named "placeholder badge" was added, which was later used for the Kids' Choice Awards 2016 in 2016.
- In spite of its popularity, there has yet to be a stage based on Pilgrim Islands Reborn.
