|The biggest group on Roblox.|
|Information accurate as of 11/05/2013|
First Encounter Assault Recon (F.E.A.R. for short) is the biggest and most infamous war groups on ROBLOX. The history of the group is filled with controversy. F.E.A.R has gained a lot of criticism, mainly regarding the large amount of unskilled members in the group, corrupt leadership, free modeled bases, and the fact that the names of the group and of several divisions were copied from the video game F.E.A.R. The original group was made by Einstein123. Quickly getting very popular; several other users branched out, making "sub-divisions". Sonic's division was created on January 31, 2010, and became very popular with the rising popularity of his Island Resort. The group also achieved tens of thousands of members when the well known Roblox Administrator Telamon joined the group in 2010. F.E.A.R. has held the title of the largest group on Roblox since 2010.
Although F.E.A.R. is hated by many users, it is currently the largest group on ROBLOX, of which some ROBLOXians believe it is due to filling it up with alts. No one is sure how F.E.A.R. got so big with active users, but it is generally assumed that SONICTHEHEDGEHOGXX's largely popular places have something to do with it. Some of the larger military groups, such as UCR, Frost Clan and Nightfall Clan have allied with F.E.A.R. to prevent a large-scale war. Other war groups have tried to "destroy" this group, but lacked the power to do so. However, several of F.E.A.R.'s allies have gone to war with F.E.A.R. before. RAT, UCR, and FC all fought F.E.A.R. in a huge war in 2010. It resulted in F.E.A.R.'s defeat. F.E.A.R. ended it's 3 month war with The Grand Imperium on December 29, 2012. It resulted in F.E.A.R.'s defeat, with an official statement issued by second in command BrianK2355.
These are the stated ranks within F.E.A.R.; there are 16 ranks total.

Another way to earn this rank is to enroll in and graduate from a secondary division known as F.E.A.R. School, owned by DoctorCooper.
Majors are well skilled soldiers who are given permission to lead patrols to defend and protect F.E.A.R.'s bases. They can also lead raids on enemy bases as well. Majors are usually selected by higher ranking members.
The last middle ranking position in F.E.A.R., these users are clever and know their tactics. They do not usually engage in infantry based firefights though. They do help command and organize troops while High Ranks are not in a specific raid or defense server.
The position of Warrant Officer is considered the first high ranking position within F.E.A.R. These members are given the privilege and the responsibility to host wall trainings, trainings announced on the group wall, as opposed to the group shout. They are also expected to monitor the Officers, and train them to achieve the high ranking positions. To become a Warrant Officer, members must be voted in by higher ranks.
These members are not considered low ranks, medium ranks, or high ranks. Members of this rank are either high ranking members or leaders of a group that is allied with F.E.A.R. However, these members get the same amount of respect that any high ranking F.E.A.R. member would get.
An extremely prestigious and respected rank, members of this rank are expected to assist the lower ranking members. They are expected to host trainings for lower ranking members periodically. The high ranks must vote a member into this rank.
Very close advisors and friends of the leader of the group. They are able schedule Trainings at their own discretion. These members also have the power to promote and demote other soldiers. Prime General 【PEN】
This rank is made up of some of the most important high ranks, besides the second and third in command, of F.E.A.R. These members are extremely respected and extremely loyal to F.E.A.R. Like the rank of General, members must be extremely dedicated to F.E.A.R. to achieve this rank.
Vice Commander 【VCO】
This rank is the most elite and respected rank besides that of the Commander. Only three members can have this rank. These are the Second in Command of F.E.A.R., the Third in Command of F.E.A.R., and Sonic's alternate account. Members of this rank are selected by the Commander himself.
Commander of F.E.A.R.【COM】
The presidential seat of F.E.A.R. SONICTHEHEDGEHOGXX is the first (founder) and current Commander of F.E.A.R.
These are the main divisions of F.E.A.R., all owned by SONICTHEHEDGEHOGXX. All of these divisions are allied with the main division, and have access to certain tents at Fort Alianor 2.0. Some of these divisions are criticized because their names were also copied from a video game, and many have extremely overpowered guns at F.E.A.R. bases. There are many more un-official divisions in F.E.A.R., but only the most important and well known are listed.
Armacham Technology Corporation
Responsible for the technology within F.E.A.R. Their name and logo are both copied from the video game, F.E.A.R. They are some of the most highly gifted when it comes to building and/or scripting. In addition to the developers, there are prestigious artists that are in the group. Some members of F.E.A.R. who are extremely skilled in combat are let into the group to protect the developers and to ensure that ATC's projects remain top secret. Notable developers are unclear and some notable hired guns are Protectorzz and AgentCG. The most prestigious artist is blobmista4.
F.E.A.R. Replica Forces
These are the most highly skilled fighters in F.E.A.R., created by Armacham Technology Corporation to protect Venezia. Their name and logo were both copied from the video game, F.E.A.R. The Replicas are born, raised, and currently reside on the planet Iratus. This division is led by the Director of War, DoctorCooper, otherwise known as the "Doctor." To enter you must participate in tactical operations combat at the RWI Gelidis Coliseum. Once you show that you are a skilled soldier you will be accepted into the Replica division as a Drone. Other information will be released later.
F.E.A.R. Honors DivisionOnly the most skilled F.E.A.R. members are eligible to join this exclusive division. Those members of F.E.A.R. who've shown endless loyalty and years of experience, as well as impressive skills can be accepted into the Honors Division. Members must have the rank of Captain+ in the main division, and must be in F.E.A.R. for a minimum of 8 months. Players then take an exam, which is graded by a high ranking member of the main division. They are then allowed access into the Honors Division.
F.E.A.R. Military Police
The job of the Military Police is to enforce the laws set by the F.E.A.R. Supreme Court. They are also expected to arrest people at F.E.A.R. bases that do not abide by the rules set in place. They are another extremely elite division. The members of this group are extremely respected. To get in, players must be an Officer or higher within the main division, and must graduate from the Military Police Academy.
F.E.A.R. High CommandThe most respected and prestigious of all the F.E.A.R. divisions, this division is for the high ranking members of F.E.A.R. only. Members of the High Command Division are some of the most loyal and respected members of the group. Acceptance into this division means that members are loyal to the group, and they are very knowledgeable about F.E.A.R. These members are often called on to answer questions that lower ranking members may have concerning the group. To get in, members must be the rank Colonel+ in the main division. In this division, members may discuss top secret information, and meet to discuss and make important decisions.
These weapons are all found at F.E.A.R.'s current main base, Fort Cryo.
G2A2 Assault Rifle
This is F.E.A.R.'s primary gun. It is useable by members of F.E.A.R. only at F.E.A.R. Bases, but all players at Fort Cryo spawn with this gun. There are three versions of this gun that have been released. The first version was released at Alianor 1.0, the second at Alianor 2.0, and the third version was introduced at Fort Cryo. It fires 30 shots per round. The G2A2 is good for mid-ranged shooting, and has minimal damage. The G2A2 Assault Rifle can be a deadly weapon in skilled hands.
A smaller pistol, all players at any F.E.A.R. fort spawn with this gun. It fires less shots per round, and it was originally introduced at Alianor 2.0. At Alianor 2.0, this was the only weapons that the raiders of the base received. Although it is not that powerful, this gun is often used for close range shooting in combat. One common complaint of this gun is it health glitches a lot.
G3A3 Burst Rifle
A high powered rifle, the Burst Rifle was originally released in Fort Cryo. It is available in the armory of Fort Cryo, so that all users can access it if they can get in the base. It fires 10 shots per round, and only takes two shots to kill. Although it is a relatively new weapon, it has been criticized for being overpowered, and the fact that it is a lot easier for F.E.A.R. members to access the gun.
MK50 Sniper Rifle
Another new rifle introduced at Fort Cryo, it is used for long ranged assault. Like the Burst Rifle, it is located in the armory of Fort Cryo. The design of the gun is reminiscent of the design of the F.E.A.R. Hammerhead, which was a gun at Alianor 2.0 that was accessible to the F.E.A.R. Replica Forces only. Although it is more powerful than the G2A2 Rifle, it is less powerful than the Burst Rifle.
Originally introduced at Alianor 2.0, the F.E.A.R. Demolisher is limited to use my members of Armacham Technology Corporation and F.E.A.R. High Command only. The Demolisher is one of the most powerful weapon out of all of FEAR's weapons. It fires over 100 shots per round. This weapon is often criticized for being too overpowered, as it usually takes one shot to kill a player. The Demolisher is a good gun for long and short distance shooting.
Another extremely powerful gun originally introduced at Alianor 2.0, this weapon can only be used by members of the F.E.A.R. Replica Forces Division. A good long-distanced gun, the Hammerhead kills users in only one shot like the Demolisher. It is said that the upgraded G2A2s in the future will be modeled after the Hammerhead.
All of these bases are located on Sonic's profile, and have once served as the headquarters for the group.
The F.E.A.R. Recruitment Center was the first official base for the group, being constructed in early 2010, around the creation of the group. The Recruitment Center attributed for a lot of F.E.A.R.'s early members, and was one of the main reasons they achieved the title of the largest group on Roblox when it did. Despite it's popularity, the base has been heavily criticized since its creation. A majority of the base's vehicles were free modeled; this caused many users to accuse Sonic of being an unskilled builder. Also, the fact that the base was built in favor of F.E.A.R. members was another common complaint. This was shown with code doors that gave only a select number of players access to weapons. Throughout its history, the base has been re-mastered multiple times. The current version is the third major rendering of the base, having been built in late 2010 - early 2011. However, a common feature in all renderings of the base was a walled compound with a modern building located inside. The building contained a weapons room, meeting room, rally room, labs, and offices. The Recruitment Center is no longer in use within F.E.A.R., as Sonic now rents the base out to other groups for recruitment purposes. A fourth version of the fort was planned to be released in mid - 2011, but was cancelled.
Main Article: Fort AlianorFort Alianor is the current headquarters for F.E.A.R. and all of its divisions. There are three versions of this fort, with version 2.0 being the current version in use, and 3.0 expected to be released soon. Alianor was originally F.E.A.R.'s first and only raid-able fort, until the release of Fort Cryo. The first two versions were built during 2011, but released during different times that year. Alianor 1.0 was released during early 2011, whereas 2.0 was released on December 23, 2011. Fort Alianor III is expected to be released in 2013. This is not only one of the most technologically advanced forts in F.E.A.R., it is also the most well liked. This fort was also the first fort built by the F.E.A.R. division Armacham Technology Corporation. The first version of Alianor was located in a hilly environment, with the main building being flat. The second version is located in a mountainous terrain, with the main building being a modern tower, and containing armories for each of the official F.E.A.R. divisions. The third is located on an island with three large waterfalls, a small waterfall, and a large lagoon. It also has division tents, as well as a hanger and helicopter pad. Although this base is the most liked F.E.A.R. fort to date, many members criticize this fort for being unfair, full of lag, and being exploited often. The design of the fort is inspired by that of R.A.T.'s primary fort, Fort Celeste. Alianor 3.0 will most likely be released after Venezia as a part of the Revival Project.
The third version of the fort is a revamped version of the fort on a larger scale. According to the storyline that was in the video description of the trailer, Alianor II was destroyed after an ambush by R.A.T. Alianor III follows a similar design to that of Alianor II, with both being located in a tropical valley climate. However, there are several notable differences between Alianor 2.0 and Alianor 3.0. In Alianor 3.0, the base is located on a series of cliffs that surround a lagoon. Two fields, which hold the base itself, are seperated by a waterfall. Despite the differences between the two bases, there are several similarities between Alianor II and Alianor III. The third version of the fort contains weapon tents, as well as a building that is similar in style in that of its predecessor.
Main Article: Fort CryoFort Cryo is F.E.A.R.'s newest fort, being released August 17th, 2012. Fort Cryo is named after the multiple cryogenic tubes located throughout the base. Located within the frozen tundra of F.E.A.R.'s homeland, Venezia, this base is more fair than Alianor to raiders in several ways. Raiders and F.E.A.R. spawn with the same weapons, and have access to the same weapons. Unlike Fort Alianor, the high divisions of F.E.A.R. do not spawn with better weapons. The base is a fairly easy raid, with raiders having to complete a simple obby hidden in the mountains in order to get into the base. Raiders spawn in a cave at the back of the map. A wall divides the raider base from the combat point. In between the F.E.A.R fort and raider base, there is a combat area. This area contains the entrance to the frozen obby, as well as some shields to hide and shoot behind. Two bunkers are located in this area, as well as the spawns for F.E.A.R. and their allies. Behind the walls is the actual F.E.A.R. base itself. The base is carved into the mountain, and divided into three floors. The first floor contains a picture room, with an open atrium lobby and an armory. The second floor contains the capture point and some cryogenic tubes. The third floor contains some offices, a cafeteria, a clinic, and a meeting room. There are two buildings located outside the main base, one of which contains some cryogenic tubes, and the other contains a radar room. There are also several cryo tubes throughout the base. Fort Cryo also contains some new technology, such as a snow GUI, and a unique capture point that freezes FEAR once Raiders win a raid. It is currently considered the new headquarters of F.E.A.R. Fort Cryo currently has over 600,000 place visits, and over 19,000 favorites.
Some criticisms of this fort are similar to those of Alianor 2.0. The fort is criticized for having more lag than Alianor, despite less bricks. Map balance is also a big negativity about Fort Cryo, along with the fact that the guns and knife tend to healthglitch (HG) a lot. These issues were addressed within a recent update, which includes taking bricks out of the guns to reduce lag, as well as introducing division tents to Fort Cryo, similar to those at Alianor 2.0.
Project Revival is a project that members of the Armacham Technology Corporation and High Command Divisions of F.E.A.R. have been working on. The goal of the project is to get F.E.A.R.'s technology up to par with that of other groups, as well as make some major reforms within the group. It includes the release of three new forts (Alianor III, Fort Cryo, and a third fort that will be introduced later), the anticipated Venezia City, new weapons, and other new technology. Some other projects within Revival include new high ranks, and some reforms within F.E.A.R. itself and the other divisions. The project was recently introduced, although it was being worked on months before-hand. Phase 1 of the project (Fort Cryo), was released August 17, 2012, with either Venezia City or Alianor III being expected to be release soon after Fort Cryo. After this, there is a possibility that a new base will be developed. According to several F.E.A.R. Highranks, along with Sonic himself, Venezia City is currently under construction, with two trailers being released. Alianor III is also under construction, with a trailer expected to be released soon.
Some of the reforms expected in the group include new high ranks, improved and new allied relations with other clans, and new discipline measures within the group. Some physical changes will also be implemented into the group, such as new uniforms, new guides, and a possible new logo.
