The Roblox forums are used for posting and socializing with other people in a text-based format. There are different sub-forums, each with different purposes. You should read all of the pinned threads, threads stuck at the top of the forum category, usually with the Popular Thread Iconicon shown to the right beside them denoting its popularity in terms of views, before in a subforum. This will decrease the possibility of angering other forumers, and will ensure that you would not be banned by the Roblox Moderators for breaking the rules. In January 2013, the forum section was revamped, resulting the moving or merger of many forums.

The forum replaced Roblox Talk (RT) as the default forum for conversation about Roblox because many users felt that most RT threads had nothing to do with Roblox.

A good portion of the ideas shared in S&I receive a large amount of criticism, which leads a good portion of other forum users to accuse S&I of having a large amount of trolls.

Roblox Talk was originally the first forum on the Roblox Forums page. RT is the most popular forum out of all of the forums on Roblox. Roblox Talk was originally known as General Discussion, but that name is no longer in use because of the fact that many users believed that it broadened the topic of discussion too much. On this sub-forum, players discuss matters concerning Roblox. Many topics of conversation include new updates to Roblox, as well as new suggestions and ideas for Roblox. This forum was moved to Club Houses because of the fact that many of the posts within RT had little to nothing to do with Roblox, which all of the Club House forums (with the exception of OT) are criticized for. The Admins had planned to change the name to Random Talk with the relocation of the forum; this did not occur due to the negative reaction from the Roblox Talk community. Roblox Talk has over 3.5 million threads.

The second most popular sub-forum with over 20 million posts and over 2.9 million threads, the purpose of the Off Topic Forum is to discuss matters that are not related to Roblox. OT is criticized (mainly by the other three Club House forums) as having an extremely high amount of trolls and immature users. Like RT and C&G, flame wars are very common within Off Topic. Despite this, it is one of the most active forums on Roblox, and many new users use Off Topic as a "starter forum" when they first begin using the forums on Roblox.

Clans and Guilds (C&G) is currently the fourth most popular forum on Roblox, with over 7 million total posts. In this sub-forum, members discuss the group feature and the happenings within famous groups on Roblox. Big wars between large modern military-themed groups, known as Ro-Wars, are often discussed. Because of the controversy and heavily opinionated members that participate in the wars, flame wars often break out as a result of these discussions. Another major topic is the various technology that is created by various war groups. This technology includes new bases, new weaponry and other scripting at these bases, and other group related places. A good amount of people that post in the Clans & Guilds forum often post to try to encourage other players to join their groups. Selling groups is also common, despite the fact that it breaks Roblox's Terms of Service. C&G is often criticized for a good amount of posts not having anything to do with groups or the happenings within them.

Let's Make a Deal (LMaD) is the third most popular forum out of all of the Roblox Forums, with over 16 million total posts, as well as over 2.5 million threads. This sub-forum was created in order for players to sell their Limited and Limited-U items to other players. LMaD was released synchronously with the release of Limited and Limited-U items (hats, faces, and gear). In LMaD, players negotiate trades and prices with other players in order to sell their Limited and Limited-U items for the best deal possible. Groups are also sold in the Let's Make a Deal Forum, despite the fact that selling groups breaks Roblox's Terms of Service. This sub-forum spiked in popularity with the release of the Trading System. Like C&G and RT, LMaD is sometimes ridiculed for the fact that a lot of posts have noting to do with trading.

The forumers here preferred to discuss politics, and often shunned people who posted about other topics. WWC was considered to be one of the brighter subforums on Roblox, where debates could be held without many flame wars. This forum merged into ROBLOX Global.

"The forum for movie-makers! Talk about how to make movies and get cast and crew for your big production"
This forum was used for movie-makers to discuss techniques, hire cast and crew, and to advertise their movies. More experienced users had their own production group, to save time finding actors on the forum. Many of the native and frequent forumers tended to have arguments and flame wars between each other, leaving it as one of the more discordant forums. This forum merged into I Made That.

A subforum for new Roblox users to introduce themselves in, and to be warmly welcomed by the community. Despite the fact that only new users are supposed to post threads there, some older users did as well.
Players make t-shirts that are about popular forum topics, such as RT and LMaD, the most popular. An example of one is here.
Some forum groups are commonly used to express the player because of the Primary Group function. [The blue text below the player could say: This Player Is Epic, a short signature, etc,]
Some forumers use signatures, which are also used to express the player. There is a Google Chrome extension that makes the signatures be placed automatically, which was made by mustyoshi and megamatrixdude
There used to a secret forum, using the ID number 34, but anyone who posted on it got banned by MrDoomBringer.
People tell about clothing as well in Look What I Made.
Many people in the forum are known as "trolls", people who often deliberately make fun of people or aggravate them on the fourms for no specific reasons. An example of a troll post can be: "You are a noob, you suck.".
The Roblox Forums is often flamed by the rest of the internet because of the high amount of failtrolls and 12 year olds found in the majority of the subforms.
Ventus48539 currently has the highest post count out of any user, with over 90,000 posts.
