Why verify?

Verifying your email address is an important step as it helps keep your account secure and makes it easy for you to use the Reset Password feature if you ever forget your password. On top of that your account will also get the bonus of the Verified, Bonafide, Plaidafied hat for doing so!

Note: In the past, players received the old Verified Sign for verifying their email address. This has been retired. Players will now receive the new Verified, Bonafide, Plaidafied hat in its place.

How to verify

To verify your email address, please do the following:

1. Log into your account

2. Go to your Account Settings page by clicking on the gear icon, located in the upper-right corner of the page followed by Settings. Alternatively, you can visit https://www.roblox.com/my/account

3. Enter an email, if you haven't already

4. Click the Verify button

5. An email will be sent to the address on the account

6. Check the account's email address and follow the instructions in the email

After clicking the link in your confirmation email, your account will officially be verified!

Not receiving the verification email?

If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, please check your Spam/Junk folder. If it still gives you trouble, you can also add email_validate@roblox.com to your address book/contact list and try again.

Enable 2-step verification (2SV)

Please be sure to enable 2-Step Verification as an added security measure for your account. This feature can be found in your Account Settings Security tab.
