Player points are a non-usable currency on Roblox, usually intended to display gaming skill. Players can earn them at select games where it is scripted to give them some by either playing an obby, swordfighting, etc. However, the clan point count and the player point count are now hidden, and on June 14, 2018 they were completely removed from the site.
Originally, player points were displayed on users' profiles, and there was a leaderboard page that ranked players and clans by the amount of player or clan points. They have been reduced to being leaderboard for each game, and the player point count on the profiles were removed. Some people abused the player point system by creating places that would give users large amounts of free player points.
Leaderboard Removal
In November of 2017, the All Time leaderboard feature was removed[1], causing some user confusion. As of June 14, 2018, the leaderboard was removed[2], essentially deprecating player points. However, players may still see themselves earning player points in certain games since the script for receiving them itself has not been removed.
