  • I feel that Roblox is losing the special feeling that made it enjoyable and memorable, and here is why. I think that David Basoozooskiokasuba is trying to re-advertise Roblox by sponsoring big YouTubers such as DanTDM, EGTV, DenisDaily, Bereghost and more. My proof of this is that all of them have suddenly switched to uploading Roblox videos and David Basoooker retweets their tweets, writes blog posts about them, tweets about their videos and the Bloxy Awards mainly featured their content (their Let's Plays were in the comedy section and their channels were all in the channels section). This has caused trouble as in 2016 when this took place, Roblox's player count almost doubled, filling with newbies. Fun fact; 1/10 Roblox players have given DanTDM a friend request. All these new players ruin games as they are not part of the Roblox community. They are very young and play games like MeepCity, roleplays, ect., and they actually pretend to reproduce in these games (ew WTF). All of this is an attemt to rebrand Roblox from a developing platform and games to adventure for all ages to a childrens' online game. I personally think it's disgusting that David Bacon would do this to our community, this has made Roblox even worse. Thank you for reading my extremely long post, please show your support!

    • And this is after David Bikini removed tickets to help make Roblox revenue (which was a huge failure as Roblox is currently failing to pay for servers and online chat).

Popular YouTubers play a popular game and bring people to said game, and in turn the creator sponsors those YouTubers. Nothing wrong here if you ask me.

Also, the statement that "all of them have suddenly switched to uploading Roblox videos" is a bit of an overstatement. I haven't watched Bereghost or DanTDM in a long time (or any Roblox YTers for that matter) but Bereghost has been uploading far before bigger Youtubers started uploading and Dan, afaik, made a slow and gradual change to uploading Roblox videos.

This has caused trouble as in 2016 when this took place, Roblox's player count almost doubled, filling with newbies. Fun fact; 1/10 Roblox players have given DanTDM a friend request.

      Proof please, for both claims.

No? I'm pretty certain that joining a community makes you a part of it.

They are very young and play games like MeepCity, roleplays, ect.,

So, they're a target audience that play popular games? What's wrong here?

and they actually pretend to reproduce in these games (ew WTF).

I agree that it's pretty weird at a certain point, but it's not like it's a new thing.

All of this is an attemt to rebrand Roblox from a developing platform and games to adventure for all ages to a childrens' online game. I personally think it's disgusting that David Bacon would do this to our community, this has made Roblox even worse.

I'm not certain, but as far back as I can remember, Roblox has been targeted towards younger audiences. Not saying that Roblox isn't also for all ages (one of it's top games is an FPS), but I guess I can agree that Roblox does seem to be more child friendly than before.

And this is after David Bikini removed tickets to help make Roblox revenue (which was a huge failure as Roblox is currently failing to pay for servers and online chat).

      Proof please.

And thank you for posting. Although I disagree with you, it's nice to see another's perspective on the same subject.

      --Proof of players doubling

--Proof of 1/10 of Roblox players sending DanTDM a friend request

At the time I thought it was 1/10 players; but now so many players have joined, which makes it 1/100 players. You got me. :P

Also, I have another claim, the Roblox developer to player ratio has changed drastically. I can't link proof here, but it's pretty obvious. I would say that it's gone from 1:100 to 1:1000.

All these new players ruin games as they are not part of the Roblox community.

I guess you are correct in a way, but how I saw this was that most new players don't really interact with us or take part the community. That's why described it like that, it was kind of how I felt.

**This is very long so I'll continue in another reply.

--What's wrong is the way they play in these games (online dating, reproducing, ect.).

      Proof please.

--Proof of Roblox's servers and chat constantly going down  (go to Jan. 7th/scroll down)

      --Even more proof

--I don't have evidence of Roblox failing to pay for these, but Roblox would not reveal that, so we will never know the answer as why the servers were going down. Many claim this was for maintenance, but no banner had appeared on the website, warning players.

I know it's hard for me to prove these and these may make me appear delusional, but I think I know what I'm talking about.

    • I made an account just to comment on this. I agree 100%, before people slowly joined roblox and growth was at a good rate. New people would come and become a part of the roblox commuinity over time. Now there is huge growth and people who are joining think of roblox games like mini games or indie games. I joined roblox in early 2012 (I know I was pretty late right lol) and I was amazed by this game, how I could build anything I wanted. I then started building in studio and made my own games. But these new players just play big games and dont understand roblox.
