January 2007[]

January 8 – 44 Robloxians have the Bloxxer Badge.^[1]
January 9 – On this day, many things are revealed. It includes the Administrator Badge, and personal message history and notifications. The most notable update was the implementation of animations for the first time in Roblox history.
January 12 – Robloxians, specifically Administrators, can now color their bodies and wear T-shirts.
January 17 – The Homestead Furniture Making Contest starts, making it the first contest. People who won the contest were able to have their own custom avatars.^[2]
January 20 – The first and original Happy Home in Robloxia is created.
January 26 – Teams are tested, but not released.
January 31 – The Report Abuse feature is added^[3]

February 16 – Tool and Teams are released, the website became faster, and bugs were fixed.^[4]
February 17 – The Copylock feature is added.^[5]
Late February - The Sword tool is added.
February 24 – Fleskhjerta, an early Roblox YouTuber noted for his humor videos, joins Roblox.

March 7 - Avatar customization in ROBLOX has been added for normal users.
March 27 - A new update for the ROBLOX client, which is version 0.3.368.0, is pushed out onto the ROBLOX website. This build is the earliest build of Roblox that is still available on the internet.^[6]
- The Supersafe chat button is added.
- The client font is changed to Comic Sans.
- The ROBLOX client now has a day/night cycle, plus has the ability to have custom skyboxes.
March 29 - The ROBLOX Installer no longer runs on Windows 2000.^[7]

April 1 – Roblox has an April Fools Joke where they claimed Google purchased ROBLOX for US$380 Million. The site domain was changed to www.gooblox.com during the period of the April Fools Joke.^[8]
April 4 - Click to move is added.
Early April - The Sword tool is updated, and is now able to slash and lunge.
April 12 - The Paintball Gun tool is added.

May 1 – Spawns are added, bugs are fixed, a max player cap is added to places, an early beta of servers is made, and places now have their own pages.^[9]
May 3 – Hair is tested, but fails.^[10]
May 8 – The first avatar recreation named Fusedgirl was implemented but scrapped later.^[11]
May 14 – Robux is added, replacing "ROBLOX Points" as the previous currency.^[12]
May 21 – The wealthiest Robloxian is miked, with 3,246 ROBUX.^[13]
May 23 – Hats are shown in a sneak peek.^[14]
May 30 – Hats are added to Roblox. Also, Clockwork joins the admins as an intern.^[15]

June 2 – The Domino Rally Building Contest starts.^[16]
June 10 – The Domino Rally Building Contest is over.
June 13 – Wookong also joins the Roblox team, and FFJosh, MrDoomBringer, Gamer3D, Cruss Kilderstohe and miked help the team.^[17]
June 14 – Bspurrell suggests the Veteran Badge, which was later made that day.^[18]

July 11 - The last "Figure" is created automatically on user Hector123a's account before being discontinued.
July 24 - Miked's Paintball Tournament starts.
July 23 - StickArena joins as the 40,000th user. He is given 400 Robux as a bonus.

August 2 – Tickets are added.^[19]
August 15 – The Roblox Grand Melee Tournament is announced.^[20]
August 16 – Builders Club is released for everyone.^[21]
August 17 – Robux can no longer be earned normally by free users.^[22] Free users can still earn tickets, however. Also, all but 64 users are eliminated from the Roblox Grand Melee Tournament, beginning round 2^[23] Miked's Paintball Tournament ends.^[24]
August 23 – 48 users are eliminated from the Roblox Grand Melee Tournament, leaving 16 to advance to the finals.^[25]
August 28 – The four winners of the Roblox Grand Melee Tournament are announced, ending the event.^[26]
August 29 - Roblox removes arm collision.

October 3 - The winners of the Roblox Spooky Building Contest Winners are revealed.^[28]
October 30 – Bevels, a search bar for the catalog, and comments are released. Explosions are changed from being simple red spheres to more realistic particle effects. "Toolbox" and "Edit Mode" on the in-game menu are changed to "Insert" and "Tools", respectively, and also switch places.^[29]

November 3 – The first Roblox Review is published.^[30]
November 5 - The Roblox FANDOM Wiki is created by Leira77 with little to no success.^[31]
November 17 – Roblox T-shirts (and other goodies) are for sale.^[32]

December 2 - Resident Evil: Build to Survive is the first game to hit 100 concurrent players.
All of December – Several winter wonderland parades happen across this month. The first set of Christmas gifts are also given away all throughout the month.
December 21 – Spawn shields (Forcefield) are introduced to prevent spawn-killing.^[33]
