Tony's Team Fortress 2 is a CTF-based game that was made by Tonyface on March 30, 2008. It is based on the popular 2007 first-person shooter game, Team Fortress 2. It features 9 distinct classes and takes place at a well-known map taken from Team Fortress 2 called 2Fort.

Classes[]

Demoman
The Demoman is a demolitions expert that can damage groups of enemies using only his explosive weapons. Weapons that the Demoman is equipped with include a bomb launcher, rocket launcher, and time-bomb. Timebomb and rocket launcher are not his original weapons, since they would be replaced in the actual Team Fortress 2 with a sticky launcher, which can explode upon detonation by the user, and the fact that the rocket launcher is actually for the Soldier class, and a one/two-handed melee weapon, such as a glass bottle and a sword.
Engineer
The Engineer is equipped with a shotgun and a pistol. He cannot build buildings unlike the actual Team Fortress 2, but can move buildings in front of either base. The Engineer, however, is overpowered in the respect that the engineer can quickly move his teammates however he wishes, and in addition, can move dispensers to allow them to get on the top of the map.
Heavy
One of the overused class in the game because of its strength of the weapons. The Heavy has a shotgun, a chaingun (The overused weapon), and a sword (Which was not in the original Team Fortress 2, since the Heavy actually uses his fists or any other melee weapon that uses his fists, such as a boxing glove). The chaingun fires over 450 bullets in a few seconds, making him nearly indestructible if the power is used properly.
Medic
The Medic is a support class that can heal and/or help injured allies. The class is equipped with a chainsaw, which was originally a bone saw, the Medic's actual melee weapon, a healing gun, which can heal injured allies, and a needle gun, for attacking enemies at a distance.
Soldier
The Soldier can use a rocket launcher, a shotgun, and a shovel. The shovel, however, only makes walls, unlike the actual Team Fortress, which is used as a melee weapon. The class is rather useful for reaching higher areas, particularly with the rocket launcher to jump.
Spy
The Spy is a stealthy support class who can use a revolver to damage enemies from a distance, a knife to stab enemies in the back to instantly kill them, and an invisibility cloak to make the spy invisible for a temporary amount of time.
Pyro
The flamethrower is the Pyro's main weapon, meaning that he can light enemies on fire, damaging them over time. Along with the flamethrower, the class is also equipped with a large fire axe as a melee weapon and a shotgun.
Scout
The Scout is the fastest class in the game and is able to outrun many classes, making him a great candidate for accomplishing the objective. His weapons consist of a shotgun, a baseball bat, and a pistol.
Sniper
The Sniper can silently slay enemies from afar using his sniper rifle. Any shots that land in the head of an enemy target can instantly kill the target. Besides the sniper rifle, he is equipped with a knife and a submachine gun.

Map[]

The layout includes a copy and pasted-style base. The map includes three main points of entry that players can go through: one from the sewer, and two from the ground. The spawn rooms are both fenced, meaning that the player cannot get out of the spawn room until a weapon is picked by the player, and it also discourages spawnkilling. In the back, all the way at the end of the base lies the door to the Flag. The player must take the flag and capture it. While holding the flag, the player needs to safely return and avoid the enemy.

Trivia[]

  • In the original Team Fortress 2 game, the teams must capture the briefcase containing the enemy intelligence to bring back to their base. However, in Tony's Team Fortress 2, players capture a flag.
